Teresa Neuhaus, RYT
Certified Yoga Instructor
Teresa Neuhaus is an inspired teacher who loves to share her passion for yoga. She brings strength, enthusiasm, and compassion to her classes. She was introduced to yoga in 2000 and quickly got hooked. The strength and beauty of vinyasa yoga helped her revitalize mind, body, and spirit in challenging, exciting ways. Several years later after deciding Advertising wasn't what was in her heart, she turned to yoga to create a more healthy, holistic lifestyle. She completed her yoga training in 2005 and is a registered Yoga Instructor with Yoga Alliance.
To continue her yoga training, in 2007, she attended the Yoga Journal conference in Lake Geneva, WI. Where she had the privilege to meet and learn from some of the country's leading yoga teachers.
In 2008, she completed the Yoga of the Heart® Cardiac and Cancer Therapy training lead by Nichala Joy Devi at Kriplau which adapts yoga for people with heart conditions, cancer, and other life threatening diseases. She is also a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists.
In March 2009, she traveled to India where she had the chance to practice yoga where it first began. She had the opportunity to hike in the Himalayas, visit beautiful temples and explore the beauty of small villages in Northern India.
Recently, Teresa received her Restorative Yoga certification from Judith Hanson Lasater.
Teresa has taught yoga at small and large corporations as well as schools for ages ranging from 12 to 75. She believes everyone can benefit from yoga when practicing at the right level.
Teresa is especially grateful to all of her teachers, yoga and otherwise, who have guided her on her path.
